His process starts from a single sketch and intuitive spirit, much like Michelangelo. His work on faces carry mystery, reminiscent of the Mona Lisa.

The symbolic universe of Vaidas’ work describes the natural world gently in concrete and harsh material and reveals how sensitivity can exist even in something as heavy and unyielding as granite. The surface may be cold, but the feeling it evokes remains warm.
