Silent Guardian : Angel of tenderness and protection
A spiritual guardian carved from grey granite. An angel whose presence transforms space into sanctuary, protecting the vulnerable, comforting the lost, embracing the fragile with divine tenderness.
The Silent Guardian emerged over five months of meticulous carving. Standing at 100 centimeters, with a wingspan of 65 centimeters, she commands presence through stillness.
The Spiritual Foundation
This guardian draws from two traditions woven together: the biblical Archangel Rahamiel and the protective spirits of Baltic (Lithuanian) lore. Rahamiel's name translates to “Womb of God”, presence does not fight the storm, but becomes a warm, safe shelter within it.
In esoteric tradition, Rahamiel is invoked to comfort the fragile: the innocent, the sick, the lost, the desperate. She protects by embracing. In Baltic tradition, the Laumės serve as guardians of newborns and lost travelers, nurturing spirits woven into the land itself.
The Silent Guardian merges these sacred lineages into a single form: an angel whose core definition is absolute tenderness.
The Symbolism
She is turned inward, protective, a gesture that says: I will shelter you. Your soul is safe here. Her posture embodies the act of embracing without touching.
Display
For sacred garden: Silent Guardian belongs in serene spaces such as gardens where contemplation is possible, parks where the weary come to rest. She is best positioned near the entrance of a home, a threshold guardian protecting against spiritual intrusion while welcoming those who approach with open hearts.
For healing: Placing her where vulnerability congregates: near a meditation space, a healing garden, near the home of one who has known loss or illness. She transforms the space into sanctuary.
